Red Guy: Oh… I guess it's my turn to choose a card.
(His hand is seen picking a card from a game board titled "Question Fun")

Yellow Guy: A mountain? …A sky...? A WINDMI--
Duck Guy: No![]
(silence)
Red Guy: …If only there was a way to learn more about the world...
(The camera slowly pans from him to a globe with a music cue in the background. When nothing happens, the camera cuts back to the table)
Duck Guy: Yes, if only there was some way to learn more information about this.
(The camera cuts back to the globe with another music cue)
(The globe suddenly turns to reveal it has a face on it)
Gilbert: *smiles*
Yellow Guy: Wow, look!
(Colin interrupts before Gilbert can say anything, startling Red Guy, Duck Guy and Yellow Guy)
Colin: I'm a computer!
I'm a computery guy.
Everything made out of buttons and wires.
I'd like to show you,
inside my digital life.
Inside my mind there is a digital mind.
(His screen opens to show a grotesque model of his brain)

a clever smart boy like me,
if you just do it all digitally!
(spoken)
Yellow Guy: Wow, I'd like to be as smart as a computer...
(a thought bubble pops up with the Yellow Guy with an enlarged head)
Red Guy: Actually, we already have a computer--
(Laptop Opens and plays a startup sound)

Colin: Welcome to my digital home. Everything made out of numbers and code.
Yellow Guy: Huh?
Duck Guy: Wow! We're all computer-y!
Red Guy: Oh yeah. Wow. Wow. Wow. 'Cause of the computer.
Yellow Guy: I don't get it, how can it be? If I'm sitting at home, but I'm inside the screen?
Colin: But you're not you, you're your digital you, virtually real, but controlled by real you.
Duck Guy: But if he's not quite real, then I'm not real too! And your not real you is inside your real you!
Red Guy: Oh wow, how amazing, and interesting too, but in this digital world, what can we do?
(Silence)
Red Guy: What can we d-
Colin: (interrupting) Hey! Good question, well, it's up to you! In the digital world, there's only three things to do:
Yellow Guy: Wow, look a pie chart!
Duck Guy: Digital style!
Colin: Do a digital dancing, hey this is fun!
Yellow Guy: Wow, look a bar graph!
Duck Guy: Digital style!
Colin: Do a digital dancing, hey this is fun!
Yellow Guy: Wow, look a line graph!
Duck Guy: Digital style!
Colin: Do a digital dancing, hey this is fun!
Yellow Guy: Wow, look an oblong...
Duck Guy: Digital style!
Colin: Do a digital dancing, hey this is fun!
(Starting to speed up)
Yellow Guy: Wow, look,. nothing!
Duck Guy: Digital style!
Colin: Do a digital dancing, hey this is fun!
Yellow: ...nothing.
Duck Guy: Digital style!
Colin: Do a digital dancing, hey this is fun!

Duck Guy: Digital style!
Colin: Do a digital dancing, hey this is fun!
(Getting significantly faster)
Duck Guy: SQUAAAAAAACK

Trivia[]
- When Colin asks the puppets what their favorite color is, green is not an option displayed on their monitor. This may be a reference to Sketchbook saying “Green is not a creative color”.
- Colin does not like being touched.
- When Red Guy tells him to shut up and touches his keyboard, Colin gets very angry.
- Don't hug me I'm scared 4 is the fourth longest video in the series, behind the episodes (in order from shortest to longest): Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 3, Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 5, and Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 6.
- Just like in Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 3, this episode doesn't have a special title caption.
- The video features many references to the Illuminati triangle. You can plainly notice the eyes on the rug under the table, and on the corners on the board game?
- Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 4 has over 20 Million views on YouTube.
- During the sequence with the lyrics "Wow, look a line graph! Digital style! Do a digital dancing, hey this is fun", the painting of a clown from the first episode can be seen (At about 3:55 in the official release of this episode.)
- Colin is very rude. He repeatedly interrupts a lot of people, including Gilbert Globe, Red Guy and their Laptop.
- There is a picture of Yellow Guy and his father in the room they are playing the game in. In that same room, the words 'Get Creative!' are plastered on a board.
- There is evidence in this episode that points to Red Guy and Duck knowing that it's just only show. They attempt to cue Gilbert Globe's singing by saying 'Yes, If only there was a way to learn more information,' and things like it, and when Colin comes out of nowhere they are genuinely suprised at the sudden script change. Red Guy even says that they already have a computer as an attempt to tell him to leave.
- When at the point saying of "Wow, look nothing! Digital style!" for the second time, Duck Guy's skin is starting to be real, on the third saying, his brain popped out and his eyes got big, and on the fourth saying, his head turned into a real duck with real feathers and a loud caw. This interrupted the music when the phrase was repeated so fast.
- Digital style is the most said phrase in this episode.
- Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 4 is the only episode in the series where the room the puppets are sitting in has no windows.
- Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 4 is the first episode with a teacher which disappears midway through the episode. In this episode, Gilbert is interrupted by Colin, and therefore reverts to his original inanimate state. In Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 5, Bread Boy disappears, his reason unknown, and in Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 6, multiple teachers temporarily teach their lessons, before popping out of existence by Red Guy. This fact is true if you do not count the Victorian citizens in Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 2 as teachers.
- Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 4 is the only video in the series which is shorter than the one preceding it.
- Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 4 is the first video in the series which doesn't conclude the lesson as being a dream or hallucination (that is, if you believe the first episode seemed like a hallucination).
- Red Guy is the puppet most mocked in this episode.
- The bad budget room Red Guy walks into at the end mispronounces the script of the original sources they come from. "I am going to paint a picture of a clown," is supposed to be, "I might paint a picture of a clown." and "My dad has a computer," is supposed to be, "My dad is a computer."
