There are several errors in the Don't Hug Me I'm Scared series including the following:
- In Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 1 when Yellow Guy says I might paint a picture of a clown for a while The Sketchbook doesn't have her string but the string appears.
- In Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 2, Tony the Talking Clock's bow tie often disappears from the video, but comes back again. Also, his digital mouth is sometimes absent.
- In Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 3, the line "And change your name", comes from the voice of The Frog Boy, but The Rabbit is the one who's mouth is opening and closing.
- In Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 5, the screen flashes black for about a second but then goes back to the episode. This is presumably an error because it is so out of place. Steak Guy also has a sometimes absent digital mouth.
- In Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 6 when the file turned to the traffic light there wasn't a transformation effect.
