When i saw DHMIS for the first time around 2017, i saw it as a horror mini-series, Like IT.
But when i rewatched it again, it puzzled me, and i have watched the episodes over and over many times, i have watched many theory videos on it and i may have put it together.
The show is suppossedly a Childrens Television show, like sesame street, or the muppets
The dark themes show that kids watching these shows are corrupting their minds.
Our Main character, is Red Guy, Not yellow guy here is why
In Episode 6, It shows a flashback, because there is no sign of june 19th
He made the creativity song, and if you can see in the background, Roy,
Roy is the essientally god of the show. red guy created the songs,
Yellow guy is roy's Son. He is punishing him.
He is watching him in a endless nightmare that he is controlling with the machine in the end of episode 6
Yellow guy at first, thought he was the star of a kids TV show,
duck guy and red guy, notice that this is wrong and tries to escape,
this ends up with duck getting eaten, and red guys head getting exploded.
All of the characters are ideas made by red guy, thats why he was confused,
roy cant make new characters because he is not the designer, when you saw the flashback, red guy said,
'im a file and you put documents in me"
That was a character in the machine.
Wakey Wakey is essentially the reboot, that the creators think that kids are dumb and doesnt know what good content is. so they make a completley different plot, just the plug was the change.
